Pentland Dell 1961 are a large oval shaped white potato with creamy white flesh. They have a floury flesh , and they are a particularly excellent chipper making crispy outsides , and fluffy insides. In addition they have a good flavour, and can be used for mash and baking.
They were bred originaly in Pentlandfield, Edinburgh.
