Farmer harvesting potatoes.

Dunbar Rover 1936 (1.5kg Bag)

Delivery included in price.

This was bred in 1936 by Charles T Spence of Tynefield Farm, Dunbar and it is very rare. Rover's  are oval shape with white skin, snowy white flesh and medium deep eyes.

We always say about Dunbar Rover "never judge a book by its cover" because it is not a perfect shiny white looking modern potato, but the qualities for cooking and taste are excellent, and should definitely be tried and not under rated! The flesh is floury, and they have a pleasant sweet flavour. They make great roasting, baking and mash potato dishes. These are potatoes of the highest quality.
