7 chefs taking part in the future Chef of the North East Chef Competition visited Tiptoe Farm today (Thursday 8th April) We had a lovely picnic provided by Andy Hook from Black Friars Restaurant.
Each Chef comes from one of the colleges in Newcastle and they work in a selection of restaurants in Newcastle, including Bistro 21, Black Friars, and the Black Door Restaurant.
We showed them all the machinery that we are preparing for the planting of the heritage potatoes.
We gave them a tour of the farm explaining the process of planting , growing , and distributing Carroll's Heritage Potatoes.
