The Boars Nest
We are a classic British restaurant in an Edwardian Butcher's Shop setting. Perfect for a light lunch or evening meal, or perhaps just to enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine in a cosy and intimate atmosphere. Carrolls Heritage Potatoes are available on the menu.
Join us in our 34 seat a la carte restaurant or have a drink in our "Shabby Chic" bar, which was described by the journal as, "extremely cosy and intimate, like dining in some rambling Edwardian parlour. It makes a cracking atmosphere".
Rated by the Michelin Good Food Guide and runner up in the Yorkshire Life restaurant of the year for 2005. We also have a Smoke Free award, but offer a smoking area in the upper bar.
Our take away Cafe is located just down the road for a quick bite or coffee on the go.
