About us
The Carroll family have farmed at Tiptoe since the 1930's. We have lived and worked at Tiptoe since 1986. We farm with care for the environment using Integrated Farm Management.
Carroll's Heritage Potatoes began before the start of the Millennium in our small kitchen garden! We enjoyed growing, cooking and eating these unusual varieties, so in 2002 we decided to grow 6 varieties on a 5 acre plot, and share our enthusiasm with the public and sell them at our local Farmer's Market in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

The business has grown, and now we are growing 20 different varieties on approximately 50 acres. We sell them directly to our customers, including Retail and catering establishments. We store, grade, pack and distribute them locally, regionally, and Internationally from Tiptoe Farm. We offer a fully traceable food Production system.
We have a very comfortable Self Catering Holiday Cottage on the farm, which is available for weekly rent. The cottage looks over the River Till, where there is Sea Trout and Salmon fishing available on the river Till
